6. Orders & Payment

6.1 Placing an Order

7. Delivery & Shipping

7.1 Delivery Timelines

Estimated delivery timelines are provided at the time of purchase. These are indicative and may vary depending on your location, product availability, and logistics conditions.

  • Standard delivery: 7 to 14 business days

  • Express delivery (where available): 3 to 5 business days

  • Custom or made-to-order furniture: 4 to 8 weeks from order confirmation

7.2 Delivery Charges

Delivery charges, if applicable, will be displayed at checkout before you confirm your order. Free delivery thresholds and conditions may apply on select products or during promotional periods.

7.3 Delivery Responsibilities

  • Ensure someone is available at the delivery address on the scheduled date

  • Inspect the product at the time of delivery and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt

  • Nookify is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect address information provided by the customer

  • Re-delivery charges may apply if delivery is unsuccessful due to the customer being unavailable

7.4 Damaged in Transit

If your product arrives visibly damaged, please refuse the delivery or note the damage at the time of receipt and contact us within 48 hours at support@nookify.com with photographs. We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.

8. Cancellation, Replacement & Warranty Policy

This section governs order cancellations, replacements, and warranty claims for all purchases made on the Nookify Website.

8.1 Order Cancellation

Cancellation Before Dispatch
Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of placement or before dispatch (whichever is earlier). Eligible cancellations will receive a full refund to the original payment method.

Cancellation After Dispatch
Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled, due to the high cost of logistics and reverse shipping for furniture products.

8.2 Return & Replacement Policy

General Policy
Nookify follows a replacement-only policy. We do not offer returns or refunds after delivery, except in specific cases mentioned below.

Eligible Scenarios for Replacement

  • Product delivered is materially different from the confirmed order
  • Product is damaged during transit

Non-Eligible Scenarios

  • Change of mind after delivery
  • Minor variations in color, texture, polish, or finish
  • Damage due to misuse, mishandling, or improper installation
  • Requests raised beyond the allowed reporting time

8.3 Reporting Timeline

All replacement requests must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Failure to report within this timeframe will make the claim invalid.

8.4 Damaged in Transit – Mandatory Procedure

To qualify for a replacement due to transit damage:

  • Reject the delivery if packaging is visibly damaged
    OR
  • Record clear photos/videos showing:
    • Damaged packaging
    • Product condition at delivery

Note: Claims without proper evidence may be rejected.

8.5 Claim Review & Resolution

  • Claims acknowledged within 24 hours
  • Resolution provided within 72 hours
  • Additional proof may be requested if required

8.6 Replacement Fulfilment

  • Replacement initiated within 5–10 business days after approval
  • Reverse pickup arranged if required
  • Delivery timelines may vary

8.7 Post-Delivery Damage

Any damage reported after delivery acceptance will not be eligible for replacement.

8.8 Warranty Policy

Coverage

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Structural issues (frame, joints)
  • Workmanship defects

Warranty Duration (keep your existing durations):

  • Solid wood & upholstered: 1 year
  • Metal & engineered wood: 6 months
  • Accessories: 3 months

8.9 Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear & tear (fabric aging, polish fading)
  • Improper use or overloading
  • Water, sunlight, or environmental exposure
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

8.10 Warranty Claims

To raise a claim, customers must provide:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Images/videos of the defect

All claims are subject to verification.

8.11 Product Disclaimer

  • Natural materials (wood, cane, rattan) may have variations
  • These are not defects

Customers must:
